Starry Sky Agate Geode, Arizona Agate Geode, Starry Night Geode, Polished Geode, W/O

This geode is from Arizona and has lots of sparkle within it. The Starry Night or Starry Sky agates are rare and expensive to buy. I picked up a few to cut to see if I'd get some jewelry grade stones and just because as a collector myself it was a stone I hadn't yet cut. This piece is about 2/3 of a whole one of this type. It has agate banding around the outside edge and a druzy quartz interior. I polished the outside edge where the banding is and left the rest natural. These geodes have sort of a gritty feeling outside to them which makes the edge feel almost sharp to the touch in places. This is a great piece for any serious collector. The geode measures 1.6 x 1.3 inches and is .73 in deep.
