Petrified Wood Necklace Badger Pocket Sycamore in Solid Silver

I made this stunning petrified wood necklace from what's referred to as badger pocket petrified sycamore. It's a very rare type of petrified wood found in Washington with a pattern like no other that looks almost feather like in places. I cut the stone in a domed oval and set it in solid sterling silver. I used a decorative gallery style bezel to hold the stone. I made the back of this pendant using recycled silver that I melted down rolled into sheet metal and then textured with a pine forest pattern. The stone is brown and cream in color. If you like fossils or petrified wood this is a great addition to a collection. This petrified wood was is a great example of lasting natural beauty. The included chain is solid sterling silver and is 20 inches in length. This pendant is about 27 mm tall.

The charge for upgrading shipping covers the increased shipping cost to send priority mail. Keep in mind we have no control over USPS shipping times or errors. Both shipping choices include tracking.
