Petrified Wood Branch, Perfect Collector Piece, Mineral Specimen

This petrified wood branch came from New Mexico. I polished one end which shows the tree rings in the ancient wood. This piece really is perfect for a collection. It's not overly large and has excellent character. It still looks like the wood that was replaced by stone in it's mineralization process. This measures about 2.3 x 1.2 inches.
