This ocean jasper necklace features an orbicular teardrop shape ocean jasper paired with Australian chrysoprase in solid sterling silver .925. This is a fun design that I built using a piece of wire to attach the two settings. I make my own hand forged and formed silver sheet metal using recycled sterling silver so this piece has a recycled element to it. This piece of ocean jasper is a premium piece. The stone has little areas of quartz crystals surrounding several articulated eyes. It has great contrast in the colors which make the stone visible from a distance. I cut the main stone in a domed teardrop. The round chrysoprase is a gemmy green with small areas of white. I shaped the back of the main setting in an abstract bird shape. I left a bit of reticulation at the bottom right of the main setting for extra character. The pendant measures about 51 mm or 2 inches tall overall. The ocean jasper stone is about 21 x 13 in mm. The chrysoprase is about 8 mm across. The two stones in this piece really compliment each other well. This is a perfect piece for someone who likes green and or the person who likes unique pieces. The chain should you choose the option including it is solid sterling silver and 20 inches in length.

If you are new to semi precious stones please understand that these stones are natural and were found or dug from the earth. These are not faceted altered or manmade stones you see in stores. Natural stones (especially agates) may have features that would be considered flaws in a faceted stone or manufactured stone. Natural stones can have internal fractures, natural holes or geode areas. If there are features we as professional lapidary artists feel may detract from a stone we do our best to describe them in the listing description and show them in the pictures.We charge based on size and quality of the stone as well as market factors. USPS tracking includes a GPS signature when the package is scanned delivered. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your packages once they are scanned delivered.
