Baby Dragon Necklace in Bronze and Brass W/O

I created this pendant of a baby dragon from bronze metal clay and made a pendant with the design by soldering it to a brass backer. Metal clay is fine particles of metal suspended in an organic binder that burns off when fired in a kiln resulting in the metal particles sintering together producing a solid piece of metal. Metal clay is very cool in that you can make pretty much any shape you can imagine using molds or carving.  This pendant measures about: 1.2 inches or 31 mm tall. I paired this unique piece with a black leather cord with a stainless a steel lobster clasp. This necklace looks great on anyone. I antiqued the bronze of the dragon to black (intentional darkening of recessed areas) before polishing some of the raised areas. I lacquered this piece it to protect it's finish.

USPS tracking includes a GPS signature when the package is scanned delivered. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your packages once they are scanned delivered.
